Playmaker for College
For being a playmaker for college is a lot more different than sports. It's easier to play your role as a playmaker for sports, but school is a little different. The ways I can be a playmaker for the goals I've sent for myself from last week aren't easy goals to accomplish in a week they are long term ones and there is some short term ones. By accomplishing these goals I can do my part to succeed in college to reach those goals that I have set. Like for the biggest most important goal I would say that I'm trying really hard to accomplish is to get a B in Anatomy and Physiology lecture class and in lab. Which isn't off to a good start we had our first exam in Anatomy and Physiology the lecture class. I thought I got at least a C, but I was definitely wrong. The exam was a lot harder than I thought and I actually study for several hours, which I probably should've done longer, but I was too tired from 6 am work outs so I went to bed. The next day when I went to class to take it I was so overwhelmed and just saw all the blanks on my paper. So when that happened I figured I don't know how in the world am I going to even pass this class, but my professor said she is going to drop the lowest exam grade and quiz grade so to accomplish and do my role as a playmaker I need to study harder next time even though I'm physical and mentally exhausted especially if I want to reach that goal. My other goal for this semester is to get a 4.0 GPA, which is going to be very hard since Division 3 schools are definitely not the easiest schools to go to. The only way to accomplish this big long-term goal is to study more for my harder classes, which is Anatomy and Physiology lecture and lab class and English Composition. The reason for English Composition is because I'm not the best writer in the world. I struggle the most in this area of school just English in general the writing just makes it worse. So to accomplish these goals as a playmaker is work harder and go to get help from SI or go to my professors office hours for English especially, because I'm going to need a lot of help with my paper. Especially if I want to improve to become a very strong writer.

Bri,
ReplyDeleteThanks for this great start! Keep writing - it will get easier. You aren't the only one who is getting used to harder classes. Keep those questions coming.
